Wall Street shares were slightly lower on Monday, as investors tried to assess the fallout from Dubai's debt crisis as well as retail sales from the kickoff of the Christmas shopping season. After sharp declines late last week because of the Dubai debt, markets seemed to stabilize on Monday. Asian shares were up about 3 percent but European shares were down.
